A few weeks discomfort is small price to pay
I’ve participated and fundraised in the MS Walk since 2003 and when I was introduced to the MS Climb team last summer I immediately signed on for this year. I’m challenging myself to hike to Everest Base Camp in October, and to raise in excess of $20,000 for the MS Society, with the firm belief that a cure will be found in the near future.
I knew when it was over that I wanted to do more.

In October 2009, I was privileged to hike up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa, having raised over $10,000 to qualify for the trip with MS Climb. What an adventure! With the help of family and friends who contributed generously to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada over the course of 9 months, I joined a group of 22 others to try for the top of Mt. Kili.

MS is more likely to be diagnosed in women
MS is unpredictable, and often disabling disease with “no cure”
I did the Inca Trail in Peru 2009 to help everyone with [...]
MS Climb Machu Picchu 2008 & Kilimanjaro 2009 were the best trips of my life.
I grew so much from the 1st day of fundraising to 20000 feet in altitude… Inspiring, outstanding, invigorating.
MS Climb does not disappoint. It has the best itinerary, the best people and a worthy cause. What else are you waiting for?

When you hear the questioning voices, that's when it's time to just commit
The clincher was to be able to make a difference for people whose health might prohibit them from achieving some of their dreams. When I let go of my doubts and needing to know how and just committed, well the adventure began in that moment.
Participating in MS Climb has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me and I am truly fortunate to have volunteered and climbed for two years with such an amazing group of individuals. Challenge Yourself ! Make a difference! See the World! …. is the MS Climb motto, and it certainly holds [...]
